The Iconic Boot Style Is Revisited With New Elegance, Glamorous Finishes, And A Timeless Twist On Contemporary Classics. Creative Director Matthew M. Williams revisits a style renowned for giving Parisian elegance an audacious twist. Now with updated lines, the expanded Shark Lock lineup offers a fresh sophistication, finished with a signature 4G padlock on both knee-high and ankle-boot versions.
All eyes are on the Shark Lock Cowboy, a style crafted in black aged-grain leather, or in an ornamental floral debossed calf leather. Season-defining iterations include a red boot embellished with whip stitching and a black “corset” boot with lace-up details. Taking cues from classic western attire - bridging another aspect of the designer’s American roots with Givenchy’s Parisian allure - this style features a curved shaft, squared-off outsole and a pull-strap detail anchored by the signature 4G padlock in silver with tonal leather detailing. Featuring a slightly lower, 60mm wedge heel, the Shark Lock Cowboy enhances versatility and brings a transitional proposition to the Shark Lock family.
The Shark Lock Biker, a chunkier, wedge-soled boot in grained leather with 4G padlocks, brings a new attitude to the lineup. Available in black, medium gray, or denim, this style honors the House’s roots in a more casual, urban iteration.
The classic calf leather Shark Lock is also here, in sophisticated dark khaki and walnut brown, as well as in statement-making shades with a strass finish (lavender, absinthe green, petrol blue, shimmery blonde).
In the months to come, the Shark Lock collection will welcome another style: the Shark Lock Stiletto, a sexy, over-the-knee boot in soft black calf leather inspired by the Givenchy archives.
