Inspired by the Möbius band, the Courrèges’ SS25 collection is built like an infinite loop – it explores principles of repetition and reduction to depict a genealogy of shape.
Nicolas Di Felice condenses 60 years of Courrèges legacy through the instinctive exercise of the hand. An interlude of physicality and intuition in the flux of digital life, this season reconnects with primordial gestures of savoir-faire. Using the architecture of a 1962 Haute Couture cape as his starting point, Di Felice chisels out each passing silhouette, decomposing volume to build his timeline of creation.
Di Felice’s latest installation dives back into naturalism, crafted with scenography director Rémy Brière and Finnish artist duo Grönlund-Nisunen. At its core, a giant 'Ocean Drum' fills the heritage white space, echoing the sound of waves and mixing with layers of ambient noise. The season’s soundtrack, designed by Erwan Sene and Di Felice, spins a hypnotic vibe, building around the isolated chorus of a legendary rave anthem. It’s a twisted mantra for a symphonic meditation. All around, the hypnotic symphony of the ocean pays tribute to the soothing synergy of repeated cycles.
