With a passion for inclusivity and an interest in uncovering stories of importance, Maison Valentino has worked with zeitgeist photographer Alessandro Merlo to lens personalities who challenge the status quo. For the shoot, Nettuno, Charli, Lina Giselle and Agnes Questionmark go sky high with the Valentino Garavani Tan-Go pumps, exemplifying the power of being authentic and uniting with those who support one another.
Since picking up the camera, 26-year-old photographer Alessandro Merlo has committed himself to upgrading the beauty standards of the third millennium, ushering in a more caring and inclusive society. For the shoot, Merlo photographed Nettuno, a 21-year-old queer artist and performer, alongside 24-year-old nonbinary DJ Charli from Bologna. Colombia-born and Italy raised Lina Giselle also joined the shoot, together with fast rising artist Agnes Questionmark. Shot at the renowned Villa Arconati, the series of photos celebrates the unique stories of each subject while bringing the statement-making Valentino Garavani Tan-Go pumps to the forefront.
