Infused with pulsating Latin rhythms and club-ready energy, "Puta Romántica" is a bold, vibrant anthem that is sure to light up dancefloors. The new music video blends sensuality and hedonism, capturing MJ Nebreda’s signature style of pairing raw Latin flavours with irresistible beats. The initial singles from the project, "Tu Me Das" ft. Safety Tranceand "Soy Sentimental" featuring CRRDR, effectively showcased the ascending artist’s ability to fuse the diverse palettes of her collaborators whilst staying true to her sound, which is a foundational element of the upcoming EP.

MJ Nebreda’s upcoming EP, 'Corazón Vol.1' reflects her open-hearted and raw approach to music, intertwining emotional vulnerability with powerful Latin-inspired rhythms. With multiple volumes planned, 'Corazón' will also launch a series of accompanying club nights aimed at cultivating and growing the Latin club music scene. Commenting on the EP, Nebreda says “What I tried to captivate through the album was to reflect on my approach to love and how my identity works within all of it. Through it I hope to weave my voice and myself in the album and in this world of Latin club music in hopes that showing my heart will help someone out there with theirs as well”.
MJ has an eclectic approach to electronic music. Her breakout single “Adicto A Mi”, complete with 90s house music piano chords and chopped vocals, highlighted her love of New York house music, while “Perreo Contra La Depresion” is a Gen Z Lantinx anthem dedicated to the Perreo sound currently exploding within a new generation of queer artists who have deconstructed genres such as reggaeton and dembow. She has since released on Godmode (home to Channel Tres, JPEGMAFIA), and enjoyed success with 2022’s EP “Amor En Los Tiempos De Odio”, which paid tribute to the Venezuelan electronic genre Raptor House / Changa Tuki, widely regarded as the first purely Venezuelan electronic music genre. The EP was a collaboration with producer and sound artist Nick León, and featured DJ Baba, one of the genre’s pioneers, on production credits.
Her captivating live performances, which have included notable appearances at prestigious festivals like Primavera Sound and III Points Festival in Miami have solidified her status as a sought-after artist, further cemented by co-signs from the likes of NME, Mixmag, DJ and Clash.
The latest project marks the first new music since her energised 2023 ‘Arepa’ mixtape which was critically acclaimed by Pitchfork, and is the beginning of a new era for the rising talent.
