NEON and Greek National Opera Team Up for Yorgos Lanthimos’ ‘Bleat’ Starring Emma Stone
Yorgos Lanthimos’ highly anticipated new film, Bleat –the second work to be commissioned as part of the GNO and NEON programme The Artist on the Composer. The black and white film was shot on the Greek island of Tinos in February 2020
Borned as part of The Artist on the Composer program promoted by the Greek National Opera and NEON, it will be presented on 6, 7 and 8 May in the Stavros Niarchos Hall of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, in Athens. Emma Stone star next to French actor Damien Bonnard.
Bleat is Yorgos Lanthimos’ fourth short, following Nimic2019’s about an encounter of a professional cellist and family man with a stranger on the subway has unexpected and far-reaching consequences on his life..
Bleat will premiere in Athens on 5th May
